What is included in the Annual Health Check?
Our Annual Health Check (£370) includes FBC, liver and kidney function, bone profile, thyroid panel, vitamin D, B12, folate, iron studies, full hormone profile, PSA or CA125 (where appropriate), lipids, HbA1c, apolipoproteins, cortisol, urinalysis, ECG, lung function (vitalograph), full GP consultation, and a follow-up appointment to review all results.
How long does the health check take?
Allow approximately 1–1.5 hours for our Annual Health Check appointment. Some results may take 3–5 days to return from the laboratory, after which we'll arrange your follow-up appointment.
Do I need to fast?
Yes — please fast for 8–12 hours before your appointment (water only) to ensure accurate metabolic and lipid results.
Is this suitable as a pre-employment or insurance medical?
Some of our health screen options may be suitable for pre-employment purposes. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
Can I choose which panels to include?
Yes. If you'd prefer a targeted screen rather than our comprehensive check, we can tailor the blood panel to your specific concerns or health goals.
What happens if something abnormal is found?
If any results fall outside normal ranges, our GP will discuss this with you at your follow-up appointment and advise on the most appropriate next steps — which may include further testing, treatment, or specialist referral.
