B12 Injections
Private vitamin B12 injections in North Wales — fast, effective, and medically assessed
Private B12 Injections in North Wales
Vitamin B12 is essential for energy production, neurological function, red blood cell formation, and mental clarity. When levels fall — whether due to diet, absorption issues, or other medical factors — the effects can be significant: fatigue, brain fog, tingling or numbness, low mood, and more.
At zenvité, our private B12 injections in North Wales provide a fast, highly effective way to restore and maintain optimal B12 levels. Unlike oral supplements, injections deliver B12 directly into the muscle for immediate and maximum absorption — particularly beneficial for those with absorption difficulties (such as pernicious anaemia or gut conditions), vegans and vegetarians, or those who have found oral supplementation ineffective.
Each injection is administered by a trained clinician and preceded by an appropriate clinical assessment. Where deficiency is suspected or confirmed, we recommend a blood test first to accurately determine your B12 levels and identify any underlying causes.

Why B12 Injections Work
Maximum Absorption
Unlike oral supplements, intramuscular B12 injections bypass the digestive system entirely, delivering B12 directly into the bloodstream where it can be used immediately — making them significantly more effective for those with absorption issues.
Clinically Assessed
Every patient receives a brief clinical assessment before their injection. We also recommend B12 blood testing where deficiency is suspected, to confirm levels and exclude any underlying causes.
Quick and Comfortable
B12 injections are quick, well-tolerated, and usually take just a few minutes. Many patients notice improved energy and clarity within 24–48 hours of their first injection.

Questions?
What type of B12 do you use?
We use hydroxocobalamin, the form of B12 most commonly used in NHS and private practice, which is retained in the body for longer than cyanocobalamin.
How quickly will I feel a difference?
Many patients notice improved energy, mental clarity, and mood within 24–72 hours of their first injection. The full effects of a loading course may take a few weeks to become fully apparent.
Do I need a blood test first?
We recommend a B12 blood test before starting if you haven't had one recently. This helps confirm deficiency and identify any underlying causes. If you already have a recent B12 result, please bring it with you.
How often do I need injections?
This depends on your level of deficiency and whether you have pernicious anaemia or an absorption condition. Initial loading doses (typically 6 injections over 2 weeks) are usually followed by maintenance injections every 2–3 months.
Can I have a B12 injection as a wellness boost even if I'm not deficient?
Yes, though we'd always recommend a blood test first. Many people with low-normal B12 levels report significant improvements in energy and wellbeing after injections.
Is it painful?
B12 injections are generally very well tolerated. There may be a brief sting at the injection site, which resolves quickly. The injection itself takes under a minute.
