Allergy Testing
Private allergy testing in North Wales — understanding what your body is reacting to, with expert clinical guidance
Private Allergy Testing in North Wales
Unexplained symptoms — a persistent rash, digestive upset, chronic fatigue, or recurring sinus issues — can sometimes be traced back to an allergy or food sensitivity. At zenvité, our private allergy testing service in North Wales provides clinically accurate testing interpreted by an experienced GP, helping you finally get to the bottom of what your body is reacting to.
We offer a range of allergy and intolerance testing options including specific IgE blood testing for environmental and food allergens, and can investigate conditions such as hay fever, pet allergies, food allergies, and latex sensitivity. All tests are reviewed by a qualified GP, who will discuss your results in the context of your symptoms and help you build an appropriate management plan.
Whether your symptoms are mild or significantly affecting your quality of life, we can help you identify triggers and take back control.
For those wanting the most comprehensive picture of their allergic sensitivities, we offer the ALEX2 — one of the most advanced allergy panels available. A single blood sample is tested against over 300 individual allergens, with results reviewed by your GP in a dedicated follow-up appointment.

Questions?
What type of allergy testing do you offer?
We offer specific IgE blood testing for a wide range of food and environmental allergens. This is the most clinically validated form of allergy testing and gives reliable, GP-reviewed results.
Is your allergy testing the same as intolerance tests?
No. Allergy testing (IgE-mediated) is clinically validated and tests for true immunological reactions. Many commercial "intolerance" tests lack clinical validation. We use evidence-based laboratory testing only.
How long do results take?
Results are typically returned within 5–7 working days from our accredited laboratory partners. We'll be in touch to arrange a review appointment when ready.
Can children be tested?
We primarily treat adult patients. Please contact us to discuss your child's needs and we will advise on the most appropriate route.
What if my results are positive?
If a clinically significant allergy is identified, our GP will explain your results, provide avoidance advice, prescribe emergency medication where appropriate, and refer you to a specialist allergist if needed.
Can allergy testing help with eczema?
In some cases, yes. Allergic eczema can be triggered by specific environmental or food allergens. We will assess whether allergy testing is likely to be informative in your case.
