General Questions

About zenvité Health

What is zenvité Health?

A private GP and wellness clinic based at St. Asaph Business Park, North Wales. We offer a wide range of private healthcare services — from GP consultations and ADHD assessments to weight management, women's health, and longevity medicine. Our clinic is built around giving you more time, more personalisation, and more continuity than NHS appointments can offer.

Where are you located?

We're based at 23 Ffordd Richard Davies, St. Asaph Business Park, St. Asaph, LL17 0LJ. We're easily accessible from across North Wales, including Rhyl, Prestatyn, Denbigh, Llandudno, and Wrexham. Video consultations are also available for many services.

Do I need to be registered as a patient?

No — you don't need to be pre-registered. You can book directly through our website or by calling us on 0330 043 5003.

Will my GP be informed?

We can write to your NHS GP with a summary of your consultation if you'd like. This is optional and entirely up to you.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. Your health is personal, and we treat every consultation with complete discretion. We are registered with the ICO and follow all data protection regulations.

Do you accept insurance?

We are a self-pay clinic and do not work with private health insurers. All consultations and services are self-funded. We can provide a detailed invoice or receipt for you to submit to your provider, if your policy includes reimbursement.

Can I access my medical records?

Yes — you're entitled to view or request copies of your records at any time. Just contact us and we'll guide you through the process.

How long do you keep my records?

In line with medical guidelines, we retain your records for a minimum of 8 years (or longer for certain services, such as mental health or children's care). All records are stored securely and handled with care.

Is the clinic wheelchair accessible?

Yes — the clinic has step-free access throughout, with wheelchair-accessible facilities and a hearing loop system available.

Do you see children?

We currently provide care for adults aged 18 and over for the majority of our services. We can provide general medical services for those under 18, but we do not provide mental health services for children or adolescents. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.

What if I need urgent care?

zenvité is not an emergency service. If you need urgent or emergency medical help, please contact NHS 111, or dial 999 in a medical emergency. For non-emergency concerns, contact us and we will do our best to see you as soon as possible.

What should I do if I have a complaint?

We're committed to providing safe, respectful and high-quality care. If you're unhappy with any aspect of your experience, please tell us — in person, by phone, or via email at hello@zenvitehealth.com. All complaints are handled in line with our Complaints Policy, and we aim to resolve concerns fairly and promptly.

How can I leave feedback?

We welcome all feedback — whether it's a suggestion, compliment or area for improvement. You can leave a verified review via Doctify, or speak to our team directly. Your insight helps us continually improve.

GP Appointments

Private GP Questions

What can I see a GP for?

Almost anything — new symptoms, ongoing conditions, mental health concerns, skin problems, hormonal issues, preventative health, or simply to have someone really listen. Our GPs take a whole-person approach.

How long are GP appointments?

Standard consultations are 20 minutes, with extended 40-minute slots available for more complex concerns. We don't rush you.

How much does a private GP appointment cost?

From £75 for a standard 20-minute appointment. See our full fee schedule at zenvitehealth.com/private-healthcare-fees-north-wales/

Are there additional charges for tests, letters, or prescriptions?

Some services — such as blood tests, referral letters, or medical certificates — may involve an additional fee. These will always be explained up front, with no hidden costs. A £30 prescription fee applies to private prescriptions; controlled drugs carry a £35 fee.

How can I pay for my appointment?

Payment is taken at the time of your appointment. We accept all major debit and credit cards, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and instalment payments via Klarna. We do not accept NHS vouchers or insurance billing.

Can you issue prescriptions?

Yes — if clinically appropriate, our GPs can issue private prescriptions during your consultation. A £30 prescription fee applies, in addition to the cost of the medication itself, which is paid at the pharmacy.

How do I collect my prescription?

You can collect your medication from any local pharmacy, or have it sent directly to your door via our online pharmacy partner, CloudRx.

Can you provide repeat prescriptions?

Yes — we can issue repeat prescriptions on an ongoing basis where clinically appropriate, following an initial assessment.

Do you prescribe controlled drugs?

We can prescribe some controlled drugs where clinically indicated, following appropriate assessment. Controlled drug prescriptions are subject to a £35 prescription fee and may require additional documentation or an in-person appointment.

Can I get medication at my first appointment?

Yes — if appropriate, treatment can often begin immediately after your consultation. Your clinician will always explain the options and next steps clearly.

Can you write referral letters?

Yes — we can refer you to specialists privately or on the NHS, and can provide referral letters or supporting documentation as needed.

Do you offer same-day appointments?

We aim to offer same-day and next-day appointments where possible. Call us on 0330 043 5003 or book online.

Do you offer continuity of care?

Yes — you can request to see the same doctor for follow-up appointments to ensure a consistent approach to your care.

ADHD Assessment

ADHD Questions

What does an ADHD assessment involve?

Our ADHD assessment includes a thorough clinical interview, validated rating scales (including DIVA), review of childhood history, and a comprehensive written report. We assess for both ADHD and any co-existing conditions.

How long does an ADHD assessment take?

The full assessment takes approximately one to two hours. You'll receive a detailed written report shortly afterwards.

How much does an ADHD assessment cost?

Our full ADHD diagnostic assessment is £795. This includes all stages of the assessment and your written report.

Do you assess adults only, or children too?

We assess adults (18+). For under-18s, we'd recommend speaking to your child's school SENCO or NHS CAMHS team.

What if I already have a diagnosis?

If you've been previously diagnosed elsewhere, we can review your diagnosis, provide a second opinion, or support your ongoing medication management.

Weight Management

Weight Management Questions

What does your weight management programme include?

Our programme starts with an in-depth GP consultation to review your health, history, and goals. We then create a personalised plan that may include dietary guidance, lifestyle changes, and medication where appropriate (including GLP-1 and GIP/GLP-1 treatments like Mounjaro).

Do you prescribe weight loss injections?

Yes — where clinically appropriate, we can prescribe GLP-1 and dual GIP/GLP-1 medications (such as tirzepatide/Mounjaro) as part of a medically supervised programme. We don't prescribe these in isolation — we support you throughout.

How much does weight management cost?

Initial consultations start from £120. Ongoing support packages and medication costs will be discussed at your appointment.

Is this suitable if I have other health conditions?

We take a holistic view of your health. If you have conditions such as diabetes, PCOS, or cardiovascular disease, we tailor your plan accordingly with safety as the priority.

Women's Health & Menopause

Women's Health Questions

What women's health services do you offer?

We offer a comprehensive women's health service including menopause management, HRT consultations, PCOS assessment, contraception, cervical smears, and general women's health GP appointments.

Can you prescribe HRT?

Yes — our GPs are experienced in menopause management and can discuss and prescribe HRT (including body-identical hormones) where appropriate, following a full review of your health history.

How do I know if I'm in perimenopause or menopause?

Symptoms vary widely. A consultation with our GP is the best starting point — we'll take a full history, discuss your symptoms, and may arrange blood tests to help build a clearer picture.

Do you offer cervical smears?

Yes. We offer private smear tests at our clinic, which can be arranged as a standalone appointment.

Men's Health Clinic

Men's Health Questions

What men's health services do you offer?

Our men's health clinic covers a wide range of concerns including testosterone assessment, sexual health, erectile dysfunction, prostate health, cardiovascular risk, and general men's GP appointments.

Can you check my testosterone levels?

Yes. We offer blood tests to check your testosterone and related hormones, and can discuss treatment options including TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) where clinically indicated.

Is erectile dysfunction something you can help with?

Yes — this is a common and very treatable condition. We can assess any underlying causes and discuss safe, effective options. Everything is handled with complete discretion.

Do you offer PSA testing?

Yes. Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) testing is available as a standalone blood test or as part of a health screening package.

Blood Tests

Blood Test Questions

What blood tests do you offer?

We offer a wide range of private blood tests, from single markers to comprehensive health panels. These include thyroid function, full blood count, diabetes screening, cholesterol, hormones, vitamins, and much more.

Do I need to fast before a blood test?

It depends on the test. You will be advised whether fasting is required when booking your appointment.

How quickly will I receive my results?

Most results are available within 24–48 hours of your sample being received by the laboratory. We'll contact you with results and explain what they mean.

Can I book a blood test without a GP appointment?

Yes — you can book a standalone blood test without a prior consultation, though we recommend pairing it with a GP appointment to review your results in full.

Mental Health & Counselling

Mental Health Questions

What mental health support do you offer?

We offer talking therapy (counselling and CBT) with our accredited counsellor, as well as psychiatric assessment and management for more complex conditions such as anxiety, depression, and OCD.

What's the difference between counselling and psychiatry?

Counselling focuses on talking through your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to support wellbeing and mental health. Psychiatry involves medical assessment, diagnosis, and where appropriate, medication management — and is led by our consultant psychiatrist.

Do you offer CBT?

Yes — our therapist offers CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) alongside integrative counselling.

How much do therapy sessions cost?

Counselling sessions are from £60 per session. Psychiatric assessments are from £350. Please see our fees page for full details.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes. Everything discussed in a therapy session is confidential, subject to professional safeguarding obligations.
