Skin Health
Expert, medically-led skin health assessment and treatment in North Wales — for conditions, aesthetics, and long-term skin wellbeing
Private Skin Health Services in North Wales
Our skin is our largest organ — and one of the most visible indicators of our overall health. At zenvité, we provide a comprehensive range of medical skin health services in North Wales, from assessment and treatment of common skin conditions to aesthetic treatments and skin cancer screening.
Unlike a purely aesthetic clinic, our approach to skin health is rooted in general practice. We investigate the underlying causes of skin conditions — hormonal, nutritional, immunological — and treat both the symptoms and the root. Whether you're dealing with persistent acne, rosacea, eczema, unexplained rashes, or are looking to improve your skin's overall health and appearance, our GP team offers clinically sound, personalised care.
We also offer medical aesthetic treatments including PRP (platelet-rich plasma therapy) for skin rejuvenation, and can refer for dermatology or specialist input where needed.

Our Skin Health Approach
Medically Led
Our skin health service is led by GPs, not beauticians. We investigate the medical causes of skin conditions and offer treatments grounded in clinical evidence — not trends.
Root-Cause Approach
Acne, rosacea, and other skin conditions are often driven by hormonal or nutritional imbalances. We test and treat the underlying cause alongside managing surface symptoms.
Aesthetics with a Medical Eye
For those interested in aesthetic improvement, we offer medically supervised PRP therapy and can refer to trusted specialist colleagues for other aesthetic treatments.

Questions?
What skin conditions can you treat?
We treat a wide range of conditions including acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, unexplained rashes, and hyperpigmentation. We also assess moles and skin lesions, and can refer for specialist dermatology input where needed.
Can you prescribe medication for skin conditions?
Yes. Our GPs can prescribe topical and oral medications for a range of skin conditions, including antibiotics for acne, topical steroids, retinoids, and other clinically appropriate treatments.
What is PRP therapy for skin?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy uses your own blood plasma — rich in growth factors — to stimulate collagen production, improve skin texture, and promote a more youthful appearance. It's a medically supervised aesthetic treatment.
Can hormones cause skin problems?
Absolutely. Hormonal imbalances — particularly androgens, oestrogen, and thyroid hormones — are a common cause of persistent acne, rosacea, and skin changes. We include hormonal assessment as part of our skin health approach.
Do you assess moles?
Yes. We can assess pigmented lesions and moles in clinic. If a lesion requires specialist dermatological review, we will refer you promptly.
Can you help with acne scarring?
We can discuss treatment options for acne scarring including PRP therapy and referral for specialist aesthetic treatments such as microneedling or laser therapy.
