What does the ADHD assessment involve?
Our assessment is a thorough, structured clinical interview lasting 1–2 hours. We use validated tools including the DIVA-5 structured interview and Conners rating scales. You'll be asked about your childhood, current symptoms, and how they affect your daily life. A detailed written report is provided within days of your assessment.
Who carries out the assessment?
Assessments are conducted by our experienced GPs with specialist training in adult ADHD. We follow NICE guidelines throughout the process.
How long does it take to get a diagnosis?
The assessment appointment itself lasts 1–2 hours. Your written report will be provided within a few days, and a follow-up appointment is booked 7 days after your assessment to discuss findings and next steps.
Can I get medication through zenvité?
Yes. If a diagnosis is made, we can discuss medication options and initiate a medication trial where appropriate. Ongoing prescriptions are managed via regular review appointments.
Will my report be accepted by employers or universities?
Our reports are detailed clinical documents suitable for use with employers, universities, and NHS services. They include a full clinical summary, diagnostic conclusions, and recommendations.
Do I need a referral?
