Private Scans & Imaging
Fast-access private scans and imaging referrals in North Wales — no waiting lists, expert interpretation
Private Scans & Imaging in North Wales
Private scanning gives you fast access to diagnostic imaging — without the delays that often come with NHS waiting lists. At zenvité, our GPs can assess your symptoms, determine the most appropriate imaging, and refer you directly to accredited private scanning facilities for prompt investigation.
We offer GP-led referrals for a full range of private imaging including musculoskeletal and soft tissue ultrasound, abdominal and pelvic ultrasound, gynaecological and obstetric ultrasound, and can facilitate access to MRI, CT, and X-ray through our trusted imaging partners. All referrals are clinically assessed — we only refer for imaging when it's clinically indicated, and results are reviewed and explained by our GPs to ensure you understand what they mean and what happens next.
For most scan types, appointments are available within days of your GP consultation.

Questions?
Do you do scans at your clinic?
We provide GP assessment and referral for scanning. The scans themselves are carried out at our trusted partner imaging facilities, which are conveniently located in North Wales and the surrounding area.
How quickly can I get a scan?
Our imaging partners typically offer appointments within a few days of referral — significantly faster than NHS waiting times.
What types of scan can you refer for?
We can refer for a full range of imaging including musculoskeletal, abdominal, pelvic, gynaecological, and obstetric ultrasound, as well as MRI, CT, X-ray, and DEXA scanning.
Will you review my scan results?
Yes. Once your results are available, we will contact you to arrange a follow-up appointment to review and discuss your findings and advise on next steps.
Do I need to fast for an abdominal scan?
Some abdominal and pelvic scans require fasting for 4–6 hours beforehand. We will advise you on any preparation required at your consultation.
Can I request a specific scan?
Yes. If you have a specific concern, please mention it when booking and our GP will assess whether the scan you have in mind is the most appropriate investigation.
