How The ADHD Assessment Works

The process begins by booking an ADHD assessment appointment.

1. Book and Prepare

Once you book, you’ll receive short pre-assessment questionnaires and background questions.
This helps your clinician plan a focused, personalised assessment — without wasting time on forms.

Th

2. The Assessment

Your assessment is a longer, one-to-one appointment with an experienced clinician.

The appointment is calm, structured, and conversational — not a rushed tick-box exercise.

Appointments are available:

  • in person in St Asaph, or

  • remotely via secure video consultation

3. Multidisciplinary Review

Following the assessment, the information gathered is reviewed within the clinical team.

4. Outcome, Report, and Next Steps

You’ll then return for your follow up appointment where the outcome is fully discussed with you and a written report is provided.

Any further care or follow-up is discussed transparently, with time to consider your options.
