Mental Health Support & Counselling in North Wales
Mental health matters — and getting the right support at the right time can make an enormous difference. At zenvité, we offer a range of compassionate, professional mental health services in North Wales, from one-to-one integrative counselling to GP-led mental health assessment and private psychiatric consultations. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, or a more complex mental health condition, we're here to help — without judgment, without waiting lists, and without having to tell your story to a stranger who doesn't have time to listen. Our integrative counsellor, Wendy, is accredited by BACP, FDAP, and UKCP, and brings warmth, experience, and genuine skill to every session. For more complex psychiatric conditions including ADHD, we also work alongside our consultant psychiatrist, Dr. Mark Perera. Every member of our mental health team shares the same ethos: that you deserve care that's truly tailored to you.

Questions?
What type of counselling do you offer?
Wendy, our integrative counsellor, draws from a range of therapeutic approaches including person-centred, CBT, psychodynamic, and trauma-informed methods — adapting her approach to what works best for you.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies by individual and the nature of your concerns. Some clients find benefit in a short series of sessions, while others benefit from longer-term support. Wendy will discuss this with you from the outset.
When would I see the psychiatrist instead of the counsellor?
Dr. Mark Perera specialises in complex mental health conditions, medication management, and detailed psychiatric assessment. If you need a psychiatric report, a formal diagnosis, or specialist medication management, a psychiatric consultation would be recommended.
Is counselling suitable for addiction?
Yes. Wendy is FDAP accredited, meaning she has specialist training in working with addiction and substance misuse. She takes a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.
Can I get medication for anxiety or depression?
Our GPs can prescribe medication for common mental health conditions where clinically appropriate. This is done as part of a holistic care plan, not as a standalone intervention.
Is everything kept confidential?
Yes. All sessions are strictly confidential. The only exceptions are the standard safeguarding exceptions required by law, which will be explained to you at the outset.
